More About Me

I have been interested in the STEM field for as long as I can remember. My father was an electrical engineer, and he was an incredible inspiration for me growing up. I have always been fascinated by the way things work and have fond memories of taking apart my toys (and occasionally my parents' valuables) to see how they worked. This fascination has stuck with me well-into my adulthood, where I am still constantly seeking to learn more about the world around me.

Despite my intense interest in science and technology, it took many years to find where exactly I wanted to focus my studies for a future career. When I first started college, I figured I would follow in the footsteps of my father and study electrical engineering. However, it was in the midst of my first programming class that I realized my true passion was in software development. Since then, I have fully dedicated myself to the craft, and I am excited to see where it takes me.

Besides technology, I am greatly passionate about art and music. I have been playing the guitar since I was 8 years old, and am proficient in other instruments such as the piano, bass, and viola. I have played in several bands and orchestras through the years and have even written and recorded my own music. I also enjoy drawing, writing, and editing photos and videos. Where I spend most of my time, however, is with my wife. We have been married for about a year and greatly enjoy hiking, camping, and playing video games together.
